When the second annual Clear Springs High School Student United Way HUNGER GAMES commenced, club sponsor Tracy Cotton thought that their goal of collecting 5,000 pounds of food in a school-wide food drive was lofty, to say the least. After all, this would have doubled the amount of food raised in the first Hunger Games in 2013.
But, the Clear Springs Chargers went ahead and got to work.
And they went ahead and TRIPLED
the amount of food they collected in the prior year!!!!
Just think of all the needy families that will have food for the holidays that may not have otherwise!!!
Ok, enough with the gushy stuff. Who actually won?
Drum roll please!
