Medical and Dental Mobile Unit Offering Care for Harvey Displaced Residents

Stephen F. Austin Community Health Network and Clinica Sierra Vista have partnered with the United Way Galveston County Mainland to respond to the vital need for medical help in the Galveston County communities. On Tuesday, September 5th and Wednesday, September 6th from 8:00am - 5:00pm, there will be a fully equipped medical and dental mobile unit providing comprehensive medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare. These non-emergency/non-urgent services are offered to those that have been displaced after Hurricane Harvey, at no-cost.

The mobile health center unit is provided by Clinica Sierra Vista, and meets the most rigorous standard of care. The 44 foot, air-conditioned mobile features exam rooms, state-of-the-art equipment and restrooms. Health Care is provided by Stephen F. Austin Community Health Network, a federally qualified community health center, based out of Alvin, Texas.
